3-Ingredient Chocolate Chia Energy Bites

Need a snack that feels like dessert but fuels you like a pro? These no-bake chocolate chia energy bites are my current obsession — sweet, satisfying, and legitimately good for you.

Ingredients (makes ~12 bites)

  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates (about 10–12)

  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa)

  • ¼ cup chia seeds

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Optional: 2–3 Tbsp almond butter for extra creaminess

Instructions

  1. Toss everything into a food processor and pulse until it forms a sticky dough (30–60 seconds). If it’s too dry, add 1–2 tsp warm water.

  2. Roll into balls (about 1 heaping tablespoon each).

  3. Chill for 10 minutes (or eat immediately if you have zero self-control like me).

They keep in the fridge for 2 weeks or freezer for 2 months. One or two of these kill sugar cravings and keep you full for hours thanks to the fiber + healthy fats combo.
